Open Positions:

1. English / Math instructor (Beaverton, Clackamas, Lake Oswego)
 

We are looking for responsible, experienced instructors to teach one or more of the following:

  • Middle through high school math: pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, pre-calculus and calculus, AP calculus; SAT math
  • Elementary through middle school English: reading writing
  • Middle through high school English: reading, writing, SAT critical reading, & writing

 

We are particularly interested in finding instructors who are both knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing quality literature and students (elementary through high school).  Although experience with one-on-one and/or small-group tutoring is highly preferred, applicants with suitable academic background and the desire to help students are welcome.  Please submit resume to the email link provided. 2. ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER (Beaverton, Clackamas, Lake Oswego)

 
JEC, a leading provider of after-school enrichment education  is looking for an Assistant Branch Manager. This is a challenging and exciting position with room for substantial growth and advancement.
Necessary Qualifications:
  • B. A. degree minimum
  • Familiarity with standard Oregon State educational practices
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Experience with business operations, such as scheduling, light accounting, filing, inventory management, etc.
  • Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and work with others under deadlines
  • Flexibility
  • Punctuality and dependability
Bonus Qualifications:
  • Able to teach small classes or tutor in one or more of the following areas: Math, through Calculus; Language Arts; Sciences.
  • Knowledge of Oregon State standardized tests and benchmarks
  • Strong interest in working with and helping school-age children
